Project 1: Elements and Principles Poster

Our first project is an Elements and Principles poster, in which we took photos to demonstrate our knowledge of the elements and principles of designs. The two outer columns are the demonstration/example photos that are not taken by me. The two inner columns are the photos that I've taken around the school and my house. The major difference between principles and elements of design is that principles are rules you have to follow and elements are things that will help you complete those rules for the best design outcome. This project helped me notice the little things around me that demonstrates the elements and principles of design that I have not noticed prior to this lesson. Paying attention to these things will help me become more familiar with these elements and principles, and potentially help me become a better photographer.
